Michael A. Silva
LOWELL Michael A. Silva, 50, of Lowell, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital alongside his family and loved ones.
He was born in Lowell on June 6, 1967 and was a son of the late Ralph F. Silva and Genevieve (Quinn) Silva of Lowell. He was raised in Lowell, where he attended the area schools. He worked in the Construction and painting field throughout the Greater Lowell Area. His sons were the world to him. Michael was frequently scene in his paint covered work clothes but cleaned up very well. He was a reliable hard worker, he had a very witty personality that made everyone laugh and a huge heart. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother, Genevieve, he is survived by three sons, Michael Silva of Lowell, Ryan Silva of Lowell and Nicholas Silva of Lowell. He is also survived by his siblings, Ralph Silva and his wife Cheryl of Tewksbury, Patty Silva of Lowell, Scott Silva of Chelmsford, and Michelle Silva of Lowell; and many dedicated nieces and nephews and his girlfriend and lifelong friend Christine Halamoutis.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Marybeth Maurias and Linda Silva.

HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE FRIDAY AT 10A.M. IN THE FUNERAL HOME, FOLLOWED BY PROCESSION TO ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY IN CHELMSFORD.
