Enjoyed Spending Time with Her Family
LOWELL Mary R. (Robinson) MacPhail, 82, of Lowell, died Friday, December 24, 2010, after a long illness. She was the widow of the late Lloyd MacPhail.
A daughter of the late Frank and the late Rose (Williams) Robinson, she was born January 25, 1928, in Woburn, and moved to Lowell with her family at an early age. She was educated in the Lowell School System, graduating from Lowell High School.
For many years, Mary made her home in the Highlands Section of the City, and had worked for Educator Bisquit and later retired from Raytheon Corporation in South Lowell in 1993. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, her favorite past time was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and occasional trips to Las Vegas and Mohegan Sun Casinos.
She is survived by her three children, Dennis W. MacPhail and his wife, Linda, of Lowell, Deborah A. Gannon and her husband, Gary, of Erving, and Mark MacPhail of Lowell; her grandchildren, Matthew Gannon, Amy Gannon, Lisa MacPhail, and Emily MacPhail; and her great grandchildren, Tilyr Gannon, Liam Gannon, and Teagan Gannon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Lloyd Michael MacPhail who died in 1975, and sister of the late George Robinson who died in the 1990's.
