Martin ‘Slim’ DeJesus, III
LOWELL Martin ‘Slim’ DeJesus, III, died unexpectedly, Monday, Sept. 22, 2008. Born May 15, 1985, in Oak Grove, Kentucky, he moved to Lowell with family at the age of six, and was educated in the local schools, attending Lowell High School. He was a son of Pamela (Dixon) DeJesus and Martin DeJesus Jr.
He made his home with his mother, and enjoyed spending time with his son, Martin DeJesus, IV. In his spare time, he enjoyed dancing, cooking, fishing, partying, and was an avid New England Patriots fan. Slim loved to make people laugh, and will be remembered as someone who helped people out, taking in those who needed a place to sleep.
In addition to his mother, Pamela DeJesus, and his father, Martin DeJesus Jr. of Ft. Carson Colorado; he is survived by his son, Martin DeJesus IV, and his devoted friend and mother of his son, Katy Cody of Lowell; his sister, Chenell Dixon of Nashville, TN; a nephew, DeMartin Dixon and three nieces, Endia, Shariah, and Zatiyah Dixon, all of Nashville, TN; an aunt, Regina Britton of Franklin, TN; uncles, Keith Dixon and his wife, Debra, and Stanley Dixon all of Nashville; and many extended family members and close friends including John Gonsalves.
He was also the brother of the late Endia Maria DeJesus.
