Mark Raphael Gill
LOWELL Mark Raphael Gill, Lowell native, and son of Atty Thomas P Gill and Mary Currie Gill, went to his eternal reward on Feb 8, 2017 after suffering from a long illness. He is survived by his four brothers, Tom, Mike, Joe, and Jim, sisters-in-law, Bev, Jamie, and Liz, and late sister-in-law Sue, and ex sister-in-law Barbara, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mark graduated from Lowell High School in 1972, and ran the 2 mile for Coach John Lang's championship track teams. He loved his Catholic faith, his family, kind hearted women, and dessert. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we praise Thee. Because by Thy holy cross Thou hast redeemed the world.
ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13, YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS FROM 8:30-10 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HIS FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT 11 A.M. AT IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 144 EAST MERRIMACK STREET, LOWELL. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT ST. MARY CEMETERY IN TEWKSBURY.
