Marilyn F. (Gokey) Cooper
LOWELL Marilyn F. (Gokey) Cooper, 70, died peacefully after a long illness on October 21, 2015, at Lowell Healthcare Center in the Centralville Section of the City.
Born November 21, 1944, in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Francis H. Gokey and the late Marion A. (Kelly) McMakin and stepdaughter of the late Francis J. McMakin. She was raised and educated in the Everett area.
Marilyn enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, and cooking, and in her younger days was an avid dancer. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Lori Wolotschaj and her husband, Eric, of Tewksbury, Cheryl Dyer and her husband, Tyler, of Westford, and Chad Cooper and his wife, Miho, of Hawaii; her grandchildren, Emily Wolotschaj, Brendon Wolotschaj, and Katelyn Wolotschaj all of Tewksbury, and Rui Cooper of Hawaii; her brother, Leonard Gokey and his wife, Regina, of North Carolina and their children, Megan and Erin as well as her sister, Jane Leydon and her husband, Michael, of Tewksbury, and their children, Maryn and Hannah.
