Marcia Frances Faulds
CHELMSFORD Marcia Frances (Manning) Faulds, 68, of Chelmsford, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was the wife of James Faulds with whom she would have celebrated their Forty Eighth Wedding Anniversary this coming August.
Born September 4, 1940, in Norwood, she was a daughter of the late John and the late Marion G. (Hansen) Manning, and was raised and educated in that area, graduating from Norwood High School, Class of 1958. She served with the United States Air Force, and after her discharge settled in Chelmsford where she made her home for the past twenty five years.
Marcia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and also enjoyed bowling. She was employed as a recreation aid for the United States Government at Hanscom Air Force Base for twelve years before her retirement.
In addition to her husband, James, of Chelmsford, she is survived by four children, James J. Faulds Jr. and his wife, Julie, of New Albany, Indiana, Kim M. Faulds of Chelmsford, Andrew J. Faulds and his wife, Jessica, of Groton, and Courtney L. Faulds of Chelmsford; two grand sons, Joshua Faulds of Chelmsford, and Cameron Faulds of Groton; a grand daughter, Emily Skinner, of Chelmsford; two brothers, Robert Manning and his wife, Janice, of South Carolina, and John Manning and his wife, Liz, of Chicago; a sister, Carol Bowler and her husband, William, of Hawaii; an uncle, Robert Hansen of Norwood;and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was also the mother of the late Christine Faulds and the late Amy Faulds-Denton.
