Manuel A. ‘Manny’ Floria
FITCHBURG Manuel A. ‘Manny’ Floria, 65, of Fitchburg, passed away unexpectedly August 22, 2015 at his home in Fitchburg.
He was born June 9, 1950 in Lowell, he was a son of the late Manuel and the late Olive (Taylor) Floria. He grew up in Lowell where he attended the area schools.
Manny was a communicant of St. Anthony Church in Fitchburg. In his younger days, he was a golf caddy at Vesper Country Club. He also worked at Honeywell and for Prince Corrugated. Manny enjoyed gambling and traveling to Las Vegas, and was an avid Football fan. In the early 90's he relocated to Tallahassee, Florida for over 20 years. He recently returned to Massachusetts, settling in Fitchburg to be closer to his family.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Lyons and her husband, William of Watertown; his brother Edward Floria and his wife, Sheila of Fitchburg; his nephew, Timothy Floria and his wife, Tiffany of Fitchburg; and his niece, Lisa Gonzalez and her husband, William of Leominster.
