Madeline M. Delemater

LOWELL Madeline M. (Kane) Delemater, 91, of Lowell, died Monday, July 19, 2010, at Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley. She was the widow of the late Charles P. Delemater.

Born February 6, 1919, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late John S. and the late Elizabeth M. (Coyle) Kane, and was educated in the Lowell School System.

Madeline worked in the Lowell Mills as a spinner. Later she moved to Connecticut where she worked in the office of Wang Laboratories, moving back to Lowell. She then worked at the Tewksbury State Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the World Apostlate of Fatima and a volunteer at Heritage Nursing Home. She was a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker Shrine.

She is survived by her children, John R. Harmon and his wife, Linda, of Woburn, Barbara E. Bacon of Lowell, and Raymond W. Harmon; her daughter in law, Ronda Harmon of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren, Melissa Harmon Ames of Woburn, Sarah Harmon of Woburn, Brenda Bacon of Lowell, and Scott Bacon of Lowell.

She was also the mother of the late Patrick Harmon.

 YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON WEDNESDAY. ON THURSDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.
