M. Jean Jarmalowicz
LOWELL M. Jean (Farley) Jarmalowicz, 85, of Billerica, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late John Jarmalowicz who died in 2005.
A daughter of the late James F. Farley and the late Nora A. (Hickey) Farley, she was born November 5, 1932, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, graduated from Lowell High School, and went on to attend and graduate from Nursing School. She worked at St. John’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse for her entire career, primarily in the Intensive Care Unit.
Jean was a loving wife and mother, voracious reader, and an avid Red Sox fan. She also enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, and Bingo every week at the Billerica Elks Club.
She is survived by her son, John J. Jarmalowicz and his finance, Linda Tobin, both of Tewksbury; Linda's Children Michael Tobin and Jennifer Tobin who were like grandchildren to Jean, and Michael's Son Matthew; her nieces and nephews, Karen and Tim Gilligan of Hudson, NH, Kevin Farley and his wife, Mary, of Dracut, Kristopher Farley of Hudson, NH, and Allen and Vida Sarno of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Ann Gorsky of Lowell, as well as many good friends including Fran and Mark Barron of Billerica.

HER FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD THURSDAY AT 7 P.M. IN THE FUNERAL HOME. BURIAL WILL BE HELD PRIVATELY.
