Lucien Arthur ‘Lu’ Millette
LOWELL Lucien Arthur ‘Lu’ Millette, 76, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, November 21, 2016, at Lowell General Hospital.
A son of the late Lucien Millette and the late Yvette Millette Simard he was born May 30, 1940, in Lowell, attended the local schools, and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School, Class of 1958.
From June 1958 to June 1962, Mr. Millette served with the United States Air Force. Upon his Honorable Discharge, he returned to Lowell where he made his lifelong home. In addition to spending time with family, he enjoyed Keno, a good cigar from time to time and playing computer games, in particular chess and solitaire.
His survivors include his beloved, Donna Scott of Lowell, with whom he shared his life for the past thirteen years, his children, Laurette Y. Wilson and her husband, William, of Tyngsboro, Michelle R. Murphy and her husband, Lawrence, of Nashua, NH, and Steven R. Millette of Nashua, NH, his six grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as his many nieces and nephews.
He was also a brother of the late Roland Millette and the late Gerry Millette.

HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 7 P.M. FOLLOWING THE VISITATION.
BURIAL WILL BE HELD PRIVATELY AT THE MASSACHUSETTS VETERANS’ CEMETERY IN WINCHENDON.
