Linda S. Rudy
LOWELL Linda S. Rudy, 62, of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Thursday, October 16, 2014. She was the widow of the late James R. Hancock, Sr..
A daughter of George and Dorothty (Briere) Rudy, she was born July 14, 1952, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools. She made her lifelong home in Lowell and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed taking care of her home, and keeping everything neat and clean. She was also a former queen of the Lowell Boys Club dance.
She is survived by her son, Randy Hancock of Lowell; her brother, George Rudy and his significant other, Eleanor, of Lowell, her sister, Susan Silva of Lowell, her brother, Dennis Rudy and his wife, Gloria, of Dracut, her brother, Brian Rudy and his wife, Anne, of Dracut, and her brother, Keith Rudy Sr. and his fiancee, Cheryl Haley-Beaudry, of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late James Hancock Jr., and the late Melissa Hancock and a sister of the late Ronnie, the late Gerald, and the late Garry.
