LOWELL Lena (Duarte)(Camacho) Oliveira, 94, of Fitchburg, passed away, Thursday, September 21, 2017, at HealthAlliance of Leominster. She was the widow of the late Manuel J. Oliveira.
Born May 15, 1923, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Anibal C. Duarte and the late Mary L. (Espinola) Duarte, and she attended the local schools.
She currently made her home in Fitchburg, and had formerly lived in Lowell and Billerica where she was a member of St. Anthony’s Parish. She worked at the Educator Biscuit Company until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, sewing, loved dressing up for Halloween and dancing was her favorite past time.
She is survived by her children, Gloria Silva and her life partner, Dennis Lombard of Allenstown, NH, Diane Pile of Leominster, and Arlene Camacho and her life partner, Dennis Johnson of Tyngsborough, Seven Grandchildren Kim Forget, Gina Hebert, Christopher, Linda, Elaine and Mark Silva, and Nora Melo, Twelve Great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. Also she leaves her soulmate, "Dolly" her beloved Chihuahua whom she adored.
She was also a sister of the late Mary M. DeFreitas, the late Joe Duarte, the late John Duarte, and the late Edward Duarte, she is also predeceased by her former husband Richard Camacho.
