Laurie C. Berube
LOWELL Laurie C. Berube, 61, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Merrimack Valley Hospice.
She was born in Lowell on September 2, 1954 and was a daughter of the late Henry and the late Audrey (Johnsen) Berube. She was raised in Lowell where she attended the Lowell Public School system.
Laure was employed as a housekeeper at the former St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lowell for over 20 years before her retirement in 2013. She was an avid Red Sox fan and she loved playing Bingo.
Laurie is survived by two sisters, Gina Berube and her partner, Andree Boisvert of Ocala, FL, and Linda Dudley and her husband, Chris, of Merrimack, NH; two brothers, Robert Berube and his wife, Peaw of New Ipswich, NH, and Theodore Berube of Manchester, NH. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
