Laura F. Koziarski
"Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother"
LOWELL Laura F. Koziarski, 81, a lifelong Lowell resident, died after a brief illness, Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at D’Youville Senior Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late Walter E. Koziarski who died in 2004.
A daughter of the late Anthony C. and the late Delia B. (Bawolek) Picanso, she was born October 12, 1931, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools.
She worked in Lowell area nursing homes and attended St. Joseph the Worker Shrine. She was also a member of the Polish American Veterans Ladies Auxillary, and enjoyed dancing, roller skating, going for walks, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter and bestfriend, Kathleen A. Gagnon and her husband, Gerard, of Lowell; her son, Walter E. Koziarski of Moultonboro, NH and his daughter, Kristin Koziarski of Providence, RI; her grandchildren, Lisa Laurencio, her husband, Joao, and their daughter, Haley, of Lowell, Kenneth Dodge, his wife, Marion, and their daughter, Stella, of North Chelmsford, her brother, Anthony C. Picanso and his wife, Nancy, of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
Laura was also the mother of the late Patricia Koziarski who died in 2007.
