Katherine T. ‘Bunny’ Morin
"Beloved Aunt and Great Aunt"
LOWELL Katherine T. ‘Bunny’ Morin, 90, of Lowell, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, a D’Youville Senior Health Care Center in Lowell.
Born January 22, 1924, in Haverhill, she was a daughter of the late David O. and the late Kathryn (Nugent) Morin.
Ms. Morin formerly worked at the Tewksbury Veteran’s Hospital, the former Heinz Electric Company, and Honeywell, from which she retired.
She was a lifelong member of the former Sacred Heart Parish until its closing in 2003.
She is survived by her niece, Karen M. Egan and her husband, William, of Milford, NH, a nephew, James J. ‘Jay’ Lane and his wife, Joan, of Lowell, a niece, Lois Gazis and her husband, Gus, of Palm Desert, CA, and a nephew, David Morin of Foxboro. Also surviving her are her grand nieces, Jennifer Goulet, Traci Finn, and her grand nephew, James J. Lane III and their families.
She was also the sister of the late David Morin, the late James Morin, the late Albert Morin, and the late M. Rita (Morin) Lane.
The Family wishes to thank the Staff at D’Youville Senior Care Center, The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Lowell and Hospice Program at the Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Lowell for their kindness and care toward Katherine.
AT HER REQUEST, THERE WILL BE NO VISITING HOURS. A PRIVATE BURIAL IS PLANNED. A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE HELD AT THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, 144 EAST MERRIMACK ST., LOWELL ON SATURDAY APRIL 12, 2014 AT 12 NOON TO WHICH FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED.
