Julio C. Faria
LOWELL Julio C. Faria, 23, of Lowell, died from injuries incurred following a brain aneurysm, Friday June 26, 2009, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Born April 14, 1986, in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, He was a son of Francisco F. and Lina M. (Rocha) Faria. He grew up in Terceira, and came to the United States, in 1998, with his family, settling in Lowell. He graduated from Lowell High School, and was currently attending UMass Lowell, finishing a degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. He worked for Advanced Polymers in Salem New Hampshire for several years as a Mechanical Engineer.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church, where he was also an altar server in his younger days, also in his younger days he played in the marching band for the Portuguese American Center or "Blues Club". More recently he was a kicker for the Nor'Easters semi-pro football team. He also played in Mill City and Boston Metro flag football leagues. He enjoyed working out and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his maternal Grandparents Francisco and Maria Rocha of Lowell, his brother Daniel F. Faria of Lowell, his aunts and uncles, Virginia Faria, Ivo and Sonia Faria, Ana and Jose Paim, Armanda Faria all of Terceira, Celina and Luis Teixeira, Lidia and Carlos Borges, Susana and Luis Menezes, Silvia and David DeMelo all of Lowell. He is also survived by his cousins, Raquel and Juliana Paim, Rita, Pedro, Antonio and Ines Faria all of Terceira, Stefan Teixeira, Monique and Michael Menezes, Devan, Siera and Dario DeMelo all of Lowell, and his many, many dear family and friends.
He was the grandson of the late Francisco and Armanda Faria.

YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS 4 UNTIL 7 P.M. ON TUESDAY JUNE 30.

ON WEDNESDAY, HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 8 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816

HIS FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. ANTHONY'S CHURCH AT 9 A.M..

PROCESSION TO FOLLOW TO ST. MARY CEMETERY, TEWKSBURY.
