Judyann ‘Blue Velvet’ Lamothe
"Beloved Sister and Aunt"
LOWELL Judyann ‘Blue Velvet’ Lamothe, 53, of Lowell, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 4, 2010, as the result of an accident on her Fifty Third Birthday in Lowell. She was a daughter of the late Lianne Fay (McMillan) Lamothe and was educated in the Lowell area.
Judyann made her lifelong home in Lowell, and was a member of Christ Church United where she was a member of the choir for over twenty years. Judyann loved music, especially Bobby Vinton. She also loved cats, and was especially fond of her cat, Epic. She had a green thumb for gardening and had a talent for making any plant or flower flourish with her tender touch and care.
She is survived by her sister, Kimberlyann Robinson and her husband, Andrew and her nephew, Jacob A. Robinson, of Dracut; a close family friend, Robert Sylvain of Lowell; her aunts and uncles, Marcia Cutter of Washington, Virginia Shobe of Florida, and Sylvia Habe and her husband, Andrew, of Uxbridge; Carroll McMillan and his wife, Esther, of Maine and Gerald McMillan and his wife, Carolyn, of Utah; and many cousins and friends throughout the Lowell area.
She was also a sister of the late Robert Lamothe, and niece of the late Phil Lukegord and Betty Lukegord.
