Juan Guillermo Colorado
LOWELL Juan Guillermo Colorado, 49, of Lowell, passed away January 29, 2016, at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, after a lengthy illness.
A son of Jesus Antonio Colorado, and the late Maria Rosario (Velez) Colorado, he was born June 19, 1966, in Medellin, Colombia, and was raised and educated in Colombia.
At the age of nineteen, he came to the United States, making his home in Lowell. He worked at Kitty’s in North Reading for several years before working as an accountant for Joseph’s Bakery in South Lawrence for over twenty five years. He enjoyed reading and studying as well as watching sports, especially soccer and football. He also collected art. He was a very humble man with a huge heart, he would do anything he could to help his family and others, and would always be able to put a smile on anyone's face. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Luz Marina Colorado, Maria Rosario Colorado Velez, Martha Nelle Colorado Velez, Maria Nubiela Colorado Velez, Angela Colorado Velez, Oscar Colorado Velez, Luz Estella Colorado Velez, Ivan Dario Colorado Velez, John Jairo Colorado Velez, Fabio Alberto Colorado Velez; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends
He is predeceased by his twin sister Margarita Maria Colorado Velez.
