Joseph Dayton Reed
LOWELL Joseph Dayton Reed, 79, of Lowell, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born on July 4, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, where he grew up and was educated before moving to Lowell for the past forty years. He was employed as a salesman for Ralph Pill Electrical Supply for many years before his retirement. He was a member of Sac Club. Joseph enjoyed traveling and dining out.
He is survived by a daughter in law, Katherine McDonald, of Florida, and Lucille Decker of Jaffrey, NH; his grandchildren John McDonald of Salem, NH, and Keith McDonald of NY; three great grandchildren; his good friends, Ed Hallberg and Ken and Florence Scholz; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late Robert McDonald and the late Raymond McDonald, and was predeceased by his friends, Norma McDonald and Dorothy Scholz.
