Joseph P. Breen
LOWELL Joseph P. Breen, 54, husband of Rosemary (Tobin) Breen, died Monday, March 23, 2009, at Town and Country Nursing Home, after a brief illness.
Born August 14, 1954, in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was a son of the late Raymond E. and Gertrude A. (Paul) Breen. He grew up in Lowell and was educated in the local schools.
He made his home in the Centralville Section of the City, and was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church. He loved his family and was very proud of his son, Joe. He loved his cats, Smokey and Furball. He also enjoyed building models and was an avid Red Sox Fan.
In addition to his wife, Rosemary, he is survived by a son, Joseph P. Breen of Lowell; four brothers, Charles H. Breen of Middleton, RI, John "Mitch" Breen and his wife, Kelly, of Townsend, Paul R. Breen of Lowell, and Robert T. Breen and his companion, Marlene Ciesluk, of Lowell; a sister, Dorothy A. Breen of Issaquah, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Ray "Butch" Breen, who passed away in 1974.
