John R. Falante, Jr.
LOWELL John R. Falante, Jr., 65, a lifelong Lowell resident, died Friday, September 11, 2009, at Massachusetts General Hospital.
A son of the late John R. and the late Elsie R. (Reis) Falante, he was born May 16, 1944, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School, Class of 1961, and Bentley College in 1966.
He made his lifelong home in Lowell, and was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church and was always involved in the Portuguese Community. His hobby was Classic Cars and enjoyed his neighbors and visiting his family in New Hampshire. John worked as a Trust Officer for Fiduciary Trust in Boston and always considered his friends and co-workers at Fiduciary as his extended family.
His survivors include his sister, Barbara T. Wilson of Greenland, NH; his nieces, Theresa A. Chase and her husband, Mark, of Dover, NH, Kathleen P. Maher and her husband, Thomas, of Greenland, NH, and Mary Beth Brady and her husband, Rich, of Portsmouth, NH; as well as his cousin's widow, Janice Reis of Chelmsford.
He was also the brother in law of the late Herbert Wilson and cousin of the late Brian Reis.
