John C. David
LOWELL John C. David, 51, of Lowell, died September 23, 2011 at his residence after many years of bad health.
He was born in Dracut on May 28, 1960, and attended Dracut Schools. Upon graduating in 1978 from Dracut High School, he joined the United States Navy where he served on the U.S.S. Bowen, a frigate. Upon his discharge, he lived in Nashua, New Hampshire working in construction until he became disabled while working on steel and retired in 1990 on disability, moving to Lowell.
John enjoyed watching sports events at Shedd Park and challenging his brother in law, Eddie Olin, at weekly cribbage games. Over the years, they each ended up equal winners.
Family members include his daughter, Mrs. Sharon Ricker and her two daughters, of Stewartstown, NH; his father, Clarence of Londonderry, NH; his brothers, Kenneth David, Richard David, Robert David, Donald David, and Edward David; his sisters, Nancy Goes and Mary David; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia, and his sisters, Barbara Olin and Linda Montgomery, and his brothers, Mark David and James David.
