Jennifer C. Roper

LAKE WORTH, FL        Jennifer C. Roper, 36, of Lake Worth, Florida, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She was the daughter of Christine Connolly and Robert F. Roper, both of Lowell.
Born December 14, 1978, in Lowell, she was raised and educated in Dracut. She worked as a Para Legal for Attorney Walter Chambers in Lowell for several years before moving to Lake Worth, Florida.

Jennifer was a devoted and loving mother who adored her beautiful and spirited daughter, Amber. Jenn loved to read and watch football. She enjoyed living by the beach and staying connected with family and friends through Facebook where her niece, Kiarha, and her shared the nicknames, “Marshmellow” and “Pancake.” Family and friends saddened at her passing can find consolation in knowing that Jennifer no longer struggles with our human condition called life.

In addition to her daughter, Amber Gauthier, and long term partner, Jason Gauthier of Lake Worth, FL, she is survived by her mother, Christine Connolly, and her father, Robert F. Roper; Amber’s grandparents, Norman and Jackie Gauthier of Boynton Beach, FL; Jennifer's paternal grandparents, Robert H. and Rita Roper of Hudson, NH; her sisters, Courtney Colcord and her husband, Cory, of Lowell, Tiffanie Roper and her partner, Matt Siopes, of Lowell, Brittany Roper and her fiancée, Tony Cotreau, of Townsend, and Alexandra Roper of Orange; her brother, Brandon Hammond of Dracut; and step sisters Jennifer, Erica and Felicia, all from Lowell. Jennifer leaves behind many nieces and nephews, among them, Kiarha, Kaden, Tyler, and Aaliyah; her Godmother, Pat Koerner lovingly known as “Noona,” and her husband Bob Koerner of Pelham, NH; as well as many other aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins, including Kerrie Dumont, Katie Laplant, and Kellie Georgopolis. Jennifer also leaves behind Amber’s uncles, David Gauthier, and his wife Olga of Dracut, and Norman Gauthier Jr. and his wife, Diane of Fort Meyers, FL.

Fond memories of Jennifer are her quick wit and sense of humor, her very large vocabulary that gained her the nickname of “my little Webster” and her charming “Grinch like smile” that her Mom adored. Jennifer’s huge heart and spirit will be missed by all. Rest in Peace, Dearest Jennifer. You are loved.

YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 3 UNTIL 7 P.M. ON FRIDAY, JAN. 9. ON SATURDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.
