Jennie C. Brogan
METHUEN Jennie C. (Radino) Brogan, 95, of Methuen, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017, at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late William Brogan who died in 1975.
A daughter of the late Carlo Radino and the late Mary (Fena) Radino, she was born June 2, 1922, in Everett, and was raised and educated in the East Boston area and then in Lowell, graduating from Lowell High School.
Jennie made her home in Lowell in the former Sacred Heart Parish and sang in the Sacred Heart Choir. She also was a President of the Lowell Chapter of A.A.R.P, and organized many trips for the association. In her younger days, she worked in the area shoe shops, and then worked as a supervisor for MaCom for many years before her retirement. For the past several years, she made her home in Methuen.
Her survivors include her daughter, Margaret L. Camire and her husband, Paul, of Pepperell, and her son, Carl Brogan and his wife, Susan, of Newport, NH; her seven grandchildren, Leigh Ann Hammond, Michael Hammond, Donna Hammond, Amy Brogan-Genao, Stephen Brogan, Carley Brogan, and Amanda Brogan; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late James Brogan, and sister of the late Charles Radino, the late Salvatore Radino, the late Mary Pasqualeto, and the late Josephine Merrifield.
