Jeison King
LOWELL Jeison King, 30, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Denver, Colorado.
He was born in Haina, Dominican Republic on April 24, 1986 and was a son of Osiris King of Higuey, Domincan Republic and Arecia Aponte of Lowell. He moved to Lowell at a young age, he attended the local schools, and graduated from Lowell High School in 2004, and then moved in to Northern Essex Community College.
He was very athletic, he played many sports in high school, and college. He was very well known as an excellent baseball player, and still holds records at Lowell High today for baseball, amongst other things. Jeison loved the outdoors, spending time with his siblings, mostly he loved to spend time with his daughter Sophie. He made friends wherever he went, and loved to make people smile. For several years he worked for the Market Basket Warehouse, in Andover.
In addition to his mother, Arecia Aponte, and his father, Osiris King; he is survived by his daughter, Sophie Lord-King and her mother, Angelica Lord of Dracut; and his brothers, Luis Alberto King of San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, Melvin Gonzalez of Lowell, and Riquelvin Marquez of Lowell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 26, YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS FROM 4P.M., UNTIL 8P.M., AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL, 978-458-6816. ON TUESDAY, HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE AT 10A.M. IN THE FUNERAL HOME FOLLOWED BY PROCESSION TO WESTLAWN CEMETERY FOR BURIAL.
