Janice Chartier Bradley

Wife, Mother and Grandmother

NEW BOSTON, NH Janice Elaine (Chartier) (Hand) Bradley, age 60 of New Boston, New Hampshire, died on September 25, 2017 after a lengthly illness, surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was the daughter of the late Edward Chartier and the late Clare (Sawyer) Chartier.

Born July 21, 1957 in Lowell, MA she was educated at St. Peter’s Elementary School and Keith Hall.

Before retiring due to illness, she had been employed as a manager at New England Country Pies in Merrimack, NH and prior to that worked at Beauty Box in Dracut, MA and A.F. French Box Co. in Lowell, MA.

Janice loved her family and friends dearly, loved to read, liked to go camping, liked Hampton Beach, and her pink flamingos.

Besides her husband, Tim Bradley, she is survived by her three daughters, Jennifer Fox and her husband, Jesse of Nashua, NH, Rachel Hand of Nashua, NH, and Lisa Bova Carcione and her husband, Douglas of Billerica, MA; her six grandchildren, Andrew Fox, Alexa Fox, Devin Gerrard, Alivia Gerrard, Aaron Gerrard, and Isabella Carcione. She is also survived by her brothers, Steven Chartier and his wife, Colleen of Tewksbury, MA, and Richard Chartier of Dracut, MA; her cousins, Marilyn Houston and her husband Michael, G. Garry Chase, and his wife Fran, Maureen McMorrow and her husband James.

She was also very close to her best friend, Jeannie Williams and Matthew Pynn, who she thought of as her ‘soulmate’. She also leaves her aunt and godmother, Rita Chartier; and her aunt, Elaine (Chartier) Blanco and her uncle, Joseph Blanco. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and cousins, She also leaves her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Francis and Claire Bradley; her brother-in-law, Todd Bradley and his wife, Amy; and her sister-in-law, Marianne Bradley.

She was predeceased by her parents and first husband, Joseph A. Hand Jr.

YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS FROM 5 P.M. UNTIL 8 P.M. ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2017. ON FRIDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT STE. MARGUERITE D’YOUVILLE CHURCH, 1340 LAKEVIEW AVE., DRACUT AT 10 A.M.
