Janet M. Walsh
LOWELL Janet M. (Stefan) Walsh, 87, a longtime Lowell resident, died Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Saints Medical Center.
Born in Billerica and educated in Lowell, she attended St. Stanislaus Parochial School, and graduated from Lowell High School. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Koza) Stefan.
Janet made her longtime home in Lowell and was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed her work at Astro Circuits as well as her work as a cafeteria worker for the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, at the student center.
The widow of the late William C. Walsh who died December 11, 1987, she is survived by her children, Rev. William M. Walsh of Lowell, Stephen J. Walsh and his wife, Donna, of Tewksbury, Kathleen A. Diamantopoulos and her husband, Nick, of Lowell, Carolyn M. Walsh and her husband, Jack Moynihan of Lowell, and John T. Walsh and his spouse, Joseph Downey, of Dorchester; her grandchildren, Margaret R. Walsh and Gregory V. Walsh of Tewksbury; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Antoinette Sheehan, Julia Fox, Josephine LeMay, Carol Polley, and Louise Pouliot.
