Irene Y. (Taylor) Vieira
LOWELL Irene Y. (Taylor) Vieira, 91, of Lowell, passed away after a short period of declining health, she now joins her husband of 65 years, George, in their final resting place. George passed away in 2012.
Born March 6, 1924, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Paul, and the late Virginia (Rheault) Taylor, she was educated in Lowell, and attended Lowell High School.
She enjoyed shopping, and was well known amongst her family and friends as quite the bargain hunter. She also enjoyed taking trips to Las Vegas, playing cards, and scrabble. Most dear to her was time spent entertaining friends and family.
She is survived by her four children, Sheila and her husband Alan Miller of Lowell, John Vieira and his wife Cynthia Schaller of Potomac, MD, Nancy Vieira of Santa Fe, NM, and Michael Vieira of Nashua, NH, her grandchildren Anthony and his wife Amanda Miller of Lowell, and Dr. Stephanie and her husband Jon Hansen of Westminster; her great grandson Jack Hansen of Westminster. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was the sister of the late Alfred, Daniel and Doris Taylor, Olive Floria, and Pauline Tremblay.
