Ida Triandafellow
LOWELL Ida (DeZazzo) Triandafellow, 97, of Lowell, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Wingate of Belvidere after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Arthur Triandafellow.
A daughter of the late Alphonse and the late Maryanna (Teoli) DeZazzo, she was born September 10, 1918, in Lawrence, and was educated in that area. After her marriage to Arthur, she moved to Lowell where she made her home until her death.
Ida was a very charitable person, donating money to charities all across the Country. She always liked dancing, and had met her husband at the Commodore Ballroom where they both enjoyed dancing. She also loved animals and was always feeding neighborhood animals. In addition, she also enjoyed cooking and listening to the radio. She will also be remembered for the times she spent with children and her kindness and patience toward them, especially her nephews and their families.
She worked as a stitcher in the Ayer Mill in Lawrence and the Pacific Mill in Lawrence for several years.
She is survived by her sister, Ruth Sullivan of Lowell; six nephews, Robert DeZazzo, John DeZazzo, James DeZazzo, William DeZazzo, David Husson, and Brian Sullivan; and several grand nieces and grand nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Mark Triandafellow, and a sister of the late Mildred ‘Minny’ Khoury, the late Michael DeZazzo, the late Rose Husson, the late Rebecca Cloonan, and the late Lydia DeZazzo.
