Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother
WESTFORD Hilda C. (Jesus) Braga, 92, of Westford, died after a brief illness Friday, December 23, 2011 at Genesis Westford House Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Foster Braga who passed away in 1982 after forty-five years of marriage.
Born May 14, 1919, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Miguel, and the late Mathilda (Nobrega) Jesus, and attended the local area schools.
She resided in Chelmsford for most of her life, and was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Lowell. She was employed at Offset Printing Company in Lowell for many years and later at Beacon Press Printing in Bedford before retiring in 1989.
She is survived by a son, Robert Braga and his wife, Diane (Costopoulos) of Haverhill, MA; a daughter, Roberta H. Davidson and her husband, Allan of Freedom, NH; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was also a sister of the late Bella McNamera, the late Manuel Nobrega, and her twin sister, the late Mary McLean.
