Helen Frances ‘Fran’ Souza
LOWELL Helen Frances ‘Fran’ (Teehan) Souza, 92, formerly of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 4, 2012, in Del Ray Beach, Florida. She was the widow of the late Edward Souza who died in 2003, after Sixty Five years of marriage.
A daughter of the late Morris and the late Mary (Noonan) Teehan, she was born July 28, 1919, in Belmont, and was educated in the Lowell School System.
Fran made her home in the Highlands Section of City and was a comunicant of St. Margaret’s Church before moving to Delray Beach in Florida. Her favorite pasttime was spending time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies were walking and traveling.
She is survived by her children, Janet Dunlap of Delray Beach, Florida, John ‘Jack’ Souza and his wife, Carol, of Chelmsford, Edward Souza of Lowell, Robert Souza and his wife, Donna, of Lowell, Kevin Souza of Napa Valley, California, and Brian W. Dolan and his wife, Jacqueline, of Lowell; her fifteen grandchildren; her fifteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the grandmother of the late Darlene F. Souza.
