Hector Charles Berube
LOWELL Hector Charles Berube, 68, of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at his Lowell home.
A son of the late William J. Berube and the late Mary Jane (Blanchette) Berube, he was born January 5, 1946, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools.
Mr. Berube made his lifelong home in Lowell and enjoyed reading, riding mototcycles, and crossword puzzles.
Before his retirement, he worked for the Town of Methuen, Water Department as a water head operator. He had also worked for his sister at Barney’s Delicatessen.
He is survived by his daughter, Renee Berube-Karvelas of Weymouth; his son, Jason Berube of Maine; his grand daughter, Nicole Karvelas of Boston; his brothers and sisters, Richard Berube of Texas, Florence Wayman and her husband, Ronald, of Prescott Valley, AZ, Helen Slowenski and her husband, Richard, of Buffalo, NY, Norman Berube of Dracut, Jacqueline Gauthier and her husband, Norman, of Boynton Beach, FL, Donald Berube of Lowell, and Robert Michael Berube of Dracut; his longtime companion, Sharyn Whalen of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was also a brother of the late William Berube, the late Delores Emerson, the late Patricia Brisette, and the late Leo Berube.
