Hazel R. Sheehan

BROOKLINE Hazel R. Sheehan, 89, of Brookline, formerly of Dracut, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Weirs Beach, NH, died Sunday, August 12, 2012, at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. She was the widow of the late Edward V. Sheehan who died in 1995.
A daughter of the late Joseph and the late Margaret (Moriarty) Snay, she was born September 23, 1922, in Lowell, and was educated in the Lowell Schools, graduating from Lowell High School.
She made her home in Dracut until 1988 when she moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida until 2009. She then resided in Brookline to be close to family. She worked as a personnel director, buyer and sales representative for Kresgees 5 & 10 Store in Lowell for twenty seven years. For ten years prior to her retirement she worked as an antiques dealer with her sister, Evelyn Jonhson.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kathleen Hamblin and Barry Hamblin of Encinatas, CA; her daughter and daughter in in law, Janice Sheehan and Debra Mayfield of Brookline; her grandchildren, Jesse, Neil, and Anita Mayfield-Sheehan of Brookline; her brother in law, James Sheehan of Dracut; her sister in law, Elizabeth Dugan of Florida; and twenty five nieces and nephews.
She was also a sister of the late Evelyn (Snay) Johnson, the late Gladys Snay, and the late Joseph Snay.
