Harold F. ‘Acerockola’ Brown

CHELMSFORD Harold F ‘Acerockola’ Brown, 40, of Chelmsford, formerly of Lowell, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Saints Medical Center after a long courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. He was the son of the late Harold F. and the late Frances Molly (Pashain) Brown, and was educated in the local schools.
Formerly of Lowell, for the past four years, he made his home in Chelmsford. He had worked at Tewksbury State Hospital and later in construction, until illness forced his early retirement.
Harry enjoyed computers and especially enjoyed chatting online as Acerockola. He was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He especially enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, and also enjoyed rock and roll music, Irish music, and the Clancy Brothers.
He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Brown and her partner, Demetrius Edwards, of Lowell, Dawn Comtois of Florida, Dawnelle Comtois and her husband, Robert Kemp, of Lowell, and Michelle Comtois and her husband, Luis Archibal of Lowell; his many friends including Robert and Paula Leo of Townsend, Margo Cockerline and Monty Cockerline of Chelmsford, his teacher and friend, Mrs. Dunleavy of Lowell, and his friend, Aida Shepard of Heritage Nursing Home who cared and comforted him for the past three months up to his final days; and many nieces and nephews.
