Isabelle Gonsalves
Beloved Sister and Aunt
CHELMSFORD Isabelle Gonsalves, died Friday, September 23, 2011, at D’Youville Senior Health Care Center after a brief illness.
Born in Chelmsford, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and the late Mary C (Goes) Gonsalves, and was educated in the Chelmsford School System graduating from Chelmsford High School.
Isabelle was a lifelong East Chelmsford resident and enjoyed working with the Adult Education Program in the Chelmsford School System. She was also an excellent at home seamstress, a trophy winning bowler, and enjoyed traveling. Her favorite pasttime was spending time with family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church.
She worked for more than thirty one years for A.T.&T in North Andover as a machine operator, manufacuting telephone equipment.
Her survivors include her sisters, Theresa Flynn of Worcester, and Rita M. Houston of Lowell;her brother, John Gonsalves and his wife, Sandra, of Chelmsford; her nieces, Karen Kennedy and her husband, David, of Marblehead, Kathleen Blackwell and her husband, James, of Needham, and Susan Burns and her husband, Mark, of Nashua, NH; John Gonsalves, Jr., of California, and Ricki Misitano of Lowell; and several grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins.
She was also a sister of the late Gabrielle Gonsalves and the late Mary Misitano.
