Georgia L. Therrien
LOWELL Georgia L. (Kirane) Therrien, 72, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of the late Albert F. Therrien with whom she had celebrated Fifty Three years of Marriage prior to his passing in 2015.
A daughter of the late George and the late Catherine (Knox) Kirane, she was born June 6, 1945, in Lowell, and was raised and educated in the City.
She made her home in the Highlands Section of the City, and worked as a Home Health Aide for many years throughout the City. Spending time with her family was her favorite pastime.
Her survivors include her children, Laurie J. Conroy of Lowell, Tammy J. Therrien of Lowell, Barbie J. Rousseau of Dracut; and Debbie Zupkosky and her husband, Mark, of Lowell; her grandchildren, Kerri Conroy and her fiance' Curt O'Donnell both of Stamford, CT, Kaitlin Conroy of Lowell, Kristine Conroy of Lowell, Hailey Rousseau of Dracut, Joseph Rousseau of Dracut, David Rousseau of Dracut, and Sarah Zupkosky of Lowell; her close family friends whom she considered her daughters, Judy McGovern and Barbara Sullivan; her sisters and brothers, Phyliss Daily of Chelmsford; George Kirane of Lowell, Daniel Kirane and his wife, Diane, of Florida; Maryellen Garneau and her husband, Paul, of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also a sister of the late Catherine Lesniak and sister in law of the late Jerry Daily.
