George B. La Course, Jr. of Lowell died peacefully at home.
Born in Lowell April 27, 1947, the son of the late George and Lillian (Waterworth) La Course of Lowell. He received his education in the Lowell School System.
George enlisted in the U.S. Army June 28, 1968. He received the National Defense Service Metal with one bronze star, Vietnam Campaign Metal, Combat Infantry Badge, and the Good Conduct Metal, expert with the (M-14), and also received two Over Seas Bars.
George is survived by three sisters, Lillian Gleason and her husband John, of Lowell, Georgia Mae Fratus, of Lowell, Eleanore Gosselin and her husband Robert, of Lawrence, his Aunt Rita Evicci, Uncle Raymond La Course, and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Judy, Robert, George, and William Wood, all of Lowell, and his close friend, Brian.
