Florence Katherine Ciszek
CHELMSFORD Florence Katherine (Solazzo) Ciszek, 93, of Chelmsford, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. For seventy years, she was the beloved wife of Ignatius A. Ciszek.
A daughter of the late Anthony and the late Nicolena (Nigro) Solazzo, she was born November 25, 1921, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School as a Girl Officer.
Mrs. Ciszek made her home in Chelmsford for the past sixty years. She worked as an interior decorator for many years in New Haven, Connecticut, and will be remembered as an excellent seamstress by family and friends. When she wasn’t spending time with her beloved family, she enjoyed traveling especially to Marco Island in Florida.
In addition to her loving husband, Ignatius, she is survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews.
Florence was predeceased by her brother, John J. Solazzo and her sisters, Angeline Cullen and Sister Anne Helena Solazzo, SC.
