Filomena Lima
LOWELL Filomena (Meneses) Lima, 52, of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at her Lowell home. She was the beloved wife of Ivo Lima, with whom she had celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary this past year.
Born June 7, 1960, in Terceira , Azores, Portugal, she was a daughter of Maria Norma Meneses of Lowell, and the late Desidero N. Meneses. At the age of 10, in 1970, she came to the United States with her family, settling in Lowell. She was raised and educated in Lowell, graduating from Greater Lowell Vocational High School.
She made her home in Lowell and was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church. She worked as an insurance agent for many years. In addition to spending time with her family in conversations, especially with her grand daughter, she enjoyed cooking for family and sewing,
In addition to her loving husband, Ivo, and her mother, Maria, she is survived by her son, Brian Lima of Lowell; her grand daugher, Brianna Lima; her brothers, Flavio Meneses of Lowell, and Jorge Meneses and his wife, Maya, of Tyngsboro; as well as he Godchildren, and her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. ANTHONY’S CHURCH, 893 CENTRAL ST., LOWELL, AT 10 A.M.. BURIAL IN ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY.
