Ethel D. Reis
LOWELL Ethel D. Reis, 83, a lifelong Lowell resident, died unexpectedly, May 29, 2008 at her home. She was a daughter of the late Anthony and the late Clara (Correia) Reis.
Born March 21, 1925, in Lowell, she was educated in the local schools. She made her lifelong home in the Back Central Street Neighborhood, and was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church.
She worked as a solderer for Raytheon Corporation for thirty years prior to her retirement. Ethel enjoyed spending time with her family and loved animals, especially her cat, Tootsie.
Her survivors include her niece, Beverly Perry and her husband, Don, of Lowell; her great niece, Deborah Tedesco and her husband, Joseph, of Chelmsford, her great nephew, Donnie Perry and his wife, Lisa, of Hudson, NH; her niece, Florence Mello of Lowell; as well as her niece, Rosemary DuFault of CA, and her nephews, James DuFault of Las Vegas, Raymond DuFault and Richard DuFault both of Oregon, and Anthony DuFault of California; great great nieces and nephews, Sarah Tedesco and Nicholas Tedesco, and Stephanie Perry, Danny Perry, and Michael Perry.
She was also the sister of the late Frances Mello and her late husband, John, and the late Nora DuFault and her late husband, Ray, and aunt of the late John A. Mello and the late Robert DuFault, and great aunt of the late Shawn Hill
