Esther M. Francisco
"Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother"
LOWELL June 25, 2010 was a day of returning home for Lady Esther M. Francisco whom traveled a long journey of illness that resulted in a peaceful day of rest. She was the loving wife of Anthony 'Tony' Francisco and the best friend of her daughter, Anna Maria (Francisco) Collupy.
Born on April 9, 1929 in Lowell, Esther was the daughter of James and Cecilia (Daigneault) Mulligan. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Esther worked as a secretary at the Lowell District Court for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed trips, shopping, her friends and especially her grandchildren.
Her dedication and character earned her much respect and many close friends. Esther's life revolved around her husband and family whom all loved her more than she would ever know.
She leaves behind her husband, Anthony 'Tony' Francisco who resides at the Radius Northwood Nursing Home in Lowell; her daughter, Anna Maria (Francisco) Collupy and her son in law, Doug Collupy of Dracut; her three wonderful grandsons, Joshua, Brad, and Kile, who will always treasure the wonderful memories of their precious 'Nannie' as they called her.
YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS STARTING AT 8 A.M. ON WEDNESDAY MORNING AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. HER FUNERAL MASS WILL BE OFFERED AT ST. ANTHONY'S CHURCH AT 11 A.M.. PROCESSION WILL FOLLOW FOR BURIAL IN ST. MARY CEMETERY. MEMORIALS IN HER NAME TO THE SAINTS MEDICAL CANCER FOUNDATION, 155 MERRIMACK STREET P.O.
