Elaina Millard
"Beloved Daughter, Granddaughter, Sister"

LOWELL – Elaina Marie Millard, 42, of Lowell, passed away suddenly on November 5, 2013, from injuries sustained in a tragic, pedestrian motor vehicle accident. Elaina, a lifelong fitness enthusiast, was a devoted caretaker of the elderly and infirmed for the last decade. She volunteered for local hospice care where she continued her life’s passion: enhancing the lives of others in their times of need. Elaina is described by her family and friends as caring, compassionate and devoted and by her co-workers as a “world class” office manager and real estate salesperson, having spent the last fifteen years as the key person in the administration and oversight of over one hundred real estate units in Tewksbury. Her family will dearly miss her beloved sense of humor, kindness, and her smile. Words can not describe the sense of loss within her family.
She is survived by her loving mother, Delores J. Millard of Lowell; her brother Rob Millard-Mendez and his wife, Nancy Raen-Mendez; and her sister Marissa Millard; her aunts and uncles, Maria G. Barbosa and her husband, John, of Dracut, Manuel A. Mendes and his wife, Judith (Foley), of Tyngsboro, Antonio C. Mendes and his wife, Lorraine (Hingston), of Hudson, NH and Adeline T. Mendes of Dracut. She is also survived by her longtime soulmate, John D. Sullivan, of Tewksbury and their dog, Notch.
She was also the daughter of the late Robert W. Millard and granddaughter of Manuel and Hilda Mendes.
YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS FROM 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON FRIDAY, NOV 8. ON SATURDAY, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 10 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.
