Edwin N. Gibb
LOWELL Edwin N. Gibb, 81, of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Jan 17, 2008 at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness. He was the widower of the late Alberta B. (Dichard) Gibb who died Jan 19, 2005.
Born Nov. 13, 1926, in Billerica, he was educated in the Billerica School System, graduating from How High School.
Mr. Gibb served with the U. S. Navy during World War II. He made his home in Lowell and worked for more than fifty years in sheet metal, working for Nashoba Engineering in West Concord for many years before working for Geartronics in Billerica, Electrometals in Chelmsford, and Wilmington Fabrication in Wilmington.
He is survived by four sons, David N.Gibb, Lawrence R. Gibb, Michael J. Gibb, and Ronald J. Gibb all of Lowell; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gordon Gibb of Billerica and Jamie Gibb of California; and several nieces and nephews.
