Dorothy Marcouillier

LENEXA, KS Dorothy (Stirk) Marcouillier, 76, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away on July 18, 2010, at the Olathe Medical Center after a brief illness.

The daughter of the late Ella (Galloway) Stirk and William Stirk, she was born November 21, 1933, in Lowell, and attended the local schools.

Living in Lowell for more than sixty years before moving to Lenexa, Kansas, she was an avid Red Sox Fan, and would never miss a game, watching with her grandson Danny, her daughter, Diane, and with her loving cat ‘Troubles’. Before her retirement, she worked for Teradyn Corporation in Lowell.

She enjoyed life to its fullest, going to the Casinos in Kansas City with her two daughters, living life like she was thirty years younger. Always a fighter, she survived many, many operations through the years, and also beat cancer a year ago. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She leaves her two daughters, Patricia McCullum and her husband, John, and Diane Marcouillier both of Kansas; her two sons, David Marcouillier and Paul Marcouillier both of Lowell; her nine grandchildren, Patricia Parker and her husband, Scott, Diana Aragonez and her husband, Jaime, John McCullum and his wife, Marsha, Russell McCullum and his wife, Heather, Danny Marcouillier, Tracy Mitza and her husband, Shane, Paul Marcouillier, David Marcouillier, and Britt Euler and her husband, Bryant; fourteen great grandchildren; her brother, David Stirk and his wife, Margaret of Chelmsford; four nephews, Billy Stirk, Raymond Stirk, David Stirk, and Buzz Stirk; and a niece, Prissilla James and her husband, Eugene.
