Doris Trzcinski
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother
LOWELL Doris Trzcinski, 84, of Lowell, passed away after a brief illness with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Leo Trzcinski who passed away in 1987.
Born October 29, 1929, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Francis Mellen and the late Alice (McInerney) Mellen, and attended the local area schools.
She was a lifelong Lowell resident, residing in the Acre for most of her life. She was employed as a shoe worker for Lowell's Shoe Mills for over 50 years before retiring from Tewksbury State Hospital in 1998. She was an avid Red Sox fan and supported all the local New England Sports Teams. She enjoyed going out to dinner and attending plays.
Doris is survived by her six children, Carol A. Durfee and her husband, James of Lowell, Leo H. Trzcinski and his wife, Cheryl of Salem, NH, Sharon L. Leo of Lowell, Robert Walter Trzcinski and Carolyn Scala of Lowell, Robert F. Trzcinski of Lowell, and Ronald M. Trzcinski and his wife, Michele of Worcester; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; a sister, Edna Mellen of Chelmsford; and three sisters in law, Helen Kosik, Lillian Trzcinski, and Sharon Mellen all of Lowell.
She was also the sister of the late Francis Mellen and Raymond Mellen.
