Dorette Bettencourt
HUDSON NH Dorette (Beauchesne) Bettencourt, 74, of Hudson, NH, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington after a long illness. She was the widow of the late Frank J. Bettencourt who died in 1992 after thirty four years of marriage.
A daughter of the late Arthur and the late Estelle (LaFerrier) Beauchesne, she grew up in Billerica and was educated in the Billerica School System, graduating from Howe High School.
After her marriage, she moved to Lowell and started her family. She moved to Nashua where she resided for ten years before making her home in Hudson, NH. She was a former member of St. Andrew’s Parish in Billerica and enjoyed shopping, reading, crocheting, and especially enjoyed family gatherings. For twenty fours years before her retirement, she worked as an inspector for Raytheon Corporation.
She is survived by a daughter, Jill Green and her husband, Joseph, of Hudson, NH; a son, Mark Bettencourt and his wife, Colette Lemieux, of Dracut; a granddaughter, Jennifer Brentley of Gainsville, FL; a grandson, Ryan Dolloff of Keystone Heights, FL; a great grandson, Nathan Brentley of Gainsville, FL; a great grand daughter, Shawna Brentley of Gainsville, FL; her sister, Jeanine Sammarco of Littleton; her close friend, Elmer Green of Hudson, NH; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
