Donald W. DePolito
DRACUT Donald W. DePolito, 89, of Dracut, passed away Friday, March 28, 2015, at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus. He was a son of the late Louis and the late Angelina (Pilato) DePolito.
Born February 12, 1926, in Lowell, he grew up in the city and was educated throughout the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School.
Donald made his home in Dracut and was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite d'Youville Parish. He enjoyed playing the melodica and the guitar, and listening to music, especially Jazz and Folk music from the 1950's-1960's. He was very interested in electronics and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed spending time at Rockingham Park, taking walks by the riverwalk, and spending time at Silver Lake in New Hampshire. Above all, he enjoyed spending time and entertaining his family and friends at parties and cookouts. Donald also collected coins, postcards, and political pins.
His survivors include his sister, Anita M. Depolito of Dracut; sisters in law, Arlene Depolito of Lowell and Clare Depolito of Nashua; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
He was also a brother of the late the late Albert J. Depolito, Louis D. Depolito, Joseph Depolito, Rita M. Depolito, Pasquale Depolito, and Mario Depolito.
