Donald J. Perry

LOWELL Donald J. Perry, 69, of Westford, died after a brief illness, Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Lowell General Hospital.

Born July 12, 1940, in Lowell, he was a son of the late James Perry, and the late Hazel (Sousa) (Perry) Andrews, and attended Perkins School for the Blind in Waltham.

A longtime Lowell resident, he made his home in Westford since 1992. He was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church in Westford, an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid Red Sox fan.

He is survived by a sister Esther P. Doherty of Westford; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends throughout the Westford and Lowell areas.

YOU ARE INVITED TO HIS CALLING HOURS 2 UNTIL 6 P.M. ON SUNDAY, MARCH 21. ON MONDAY, HIS FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 9 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816.
