Donald P. ‘Donnie’ Maguire
LOWELL Donald P. ‘Donnie’ Maguire, 54, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his home.
Born November 11, 1960, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Donald J. Maguire and the late Virginia (Convery) Wayne, attended the local schools, and graduated from Lowell High School.
Donnie was a lifelong Lowell resident and he enjoyed collecting coins, steins, and pocket watches. He also enjoyed playing cards and watching football with his friends and he was an avid bowler.
Donnie is survived by his children, Katie Maguire of Fitchburg, Patrick Maguire of Lowell, Amanda Maguire of Lowell, and Anthony King of Lowell; one grandson, Derrick Maguire of Lowell; and his siblings, James M. Maguire, John P. Maguire. Virginia J. Maguire, and Elizabeth K. Valkavitch and her husband, Michael, all of Lowell. He is also survived by a stepsister, Maureen A. Wayne-Ayotte of Manchester, NH; many aunts and uncles, including his uncle and close friend, David Convery of Lowell; many nieces and nephews; three greatnieces Elizabeth, Emma and Hanna; and a very close friend, Roger Thompson and his wife, Cheryl of Lowell.
Donnie was also the brother of the late David Maguire.

HIS FUNERAL SERVICE WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT 11 A.M.. A PROCESSION WILL FOLLOW FOR BURIAL AT ST. PATRICK CEMETERY IN LOWELL.
