MANCHESTER NH Deborah A. ‘Debbie’ (Hastings) Pare, 63, of Manchester, New Hampshire, died Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Bedford Hills after a battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Eugene Pare with whom she celebrated their Forty Sixth Wedding Anniversary this past May.
Born September 22, 1950, in Lowell, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and the late Claire (Pelletier) Hastings, and was raised in Lowell and educated in the Lowell Schools, graduating from Lowell High School, Class of 1968.
Mrs. Pare worked as a hairdresser for forty five years retiring from Modern Images in Pepperell. She made her home in Manchester for the past nine years.
Family was the most important thing to Debbie, she loved spending time enjoying family activities, and Christmas was her favorite family holiday. She was also a member of the Lyoness Club in Pepperell.
In addition to her husband, Eugene, she is survived by her sons, Gene ‘Geno’ Pare and his wife, Elaine, of Londonderry, NH, and Tom ‘Tommy’ Pare and his wife, Kim, of Worcester; her grandchildren, Cole Pare and Isla Pare; her brother, Michael Hastings and his wife, Linda, of Chelmford; her sisters, Alice Germain and her husband, Joseph, of Lowell, and Faith Polk, and her daughter Ryan of Lowell; her cousin, Paul Cambray of York Beach, Maine; her sisters in law, Theresa Larochelle of Lowell and Elaine Marco and her husband, Chuck, of Pepperell; her brother in law, Don Pare and his wife, Judy, of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews .
She was predeceased by her mother and father in law, Aime and Eva, and her step parents, Tom and Connie Condon, as well as her favorite pet "Bear".
